MEASUREMENTS

Knowing your size is key in purchasing clothing and accessories online since you can't try the item on. On the vintage tip, even if the tag is intact, standard sizes for men and women have drastically changed over the years. For example a 1950's women's size 14 is equivalent to a modern day size 8. Because of these changes it is very important to know your body measurements, but also how these measurements compare to the garment size listed.

All of our measurements are taken with the item laying on a flat surface. When we refer to the lenght of an item (i.e. jacket, shirt, dress) that measurement is taken from the underarm to the bottom hem.

Please be aware that the Female mannequin used in the photos is size 4-6 / Male is 30-32. Some garments may be clipped in the back to show a proper fit for photos.

How to measure yourself

  • Pant Length (also referred to as Inseam) - Measure a pair of pants that fits well from the crotch following the inside seam to the pant hem.
  • Men's Chest - With your arms straight out from your sides, measure the fullest part of your chest all the way around, just under your arms.

Take the following measurements while wearing your usual undergarments.

  • Women's Bust - Measure around the body at the fullest part of the bust.
  • Women's Waist - Measure around the smallest part of your torso below the bust and above the hip.
  • Women's Hip - Measure below the waistline at the fullest part of the hip (usually 7-9 inches below the waist.)
